Adam DiTroia was born into a very musical family. His father
played session guitar with artists such as Billy Joel, Barbara
Streisand, Neil Diamond, and The Monkees.
Adam, like so many others, started out on the piano. He
started composing his own music in his early teens. He knew it was his
calling and hasn’t looked back since. Among
several private instructors was his grandfather. They spent many
afternoons studying music theory and arranging, preparing Adam to work with live orchestras.
Adam’s first professional scoring jobs included
several local television commercials and music and sound effects for
websites and online games. He moved on from there to game
modifications, providing epic music and original sound effects to
hardcore fans with the talent to create their own games. This opened
the door to his first commercial game scoring project, "Taxi 3: Extreme
Rush".
Adam continues to
create music and sound effects for games, television, film, animation, and the
web. He is currently working on several exciting projects for
2007 and beyond. Keep an eye on his credits page for details. Visit him on Myspace at www.myspace.com/adamditroia.
